| Hokuto no Ken in 3D Computer Graphics |
It seems that Fist of the North Star will make the transition from 2D to 3D in a CG animated project. At this moment we know only that there is a preview video and a couple render stills of Kenshiro and Roah over at the official Hokuto Hero website.
The project should be a Computer Graphics anime that will be transmitted by Fuji Television in 15 July 2006. Sammy filmed Hokuto Hero in motion capture technology.
Mangaka Tetsuo Hara has participated to the project.
We are sure that Hokuto Hero - Legend of Heroes will be not the last anime dedicated to Hokuto no Ken World: The Japanese production partnership North Stars Pictures has recently announced the Hokuto no Ken: Shin Kyuseishu Densetsu (Fist of the North Star: New Saviour Legend), project that will consist of 3 theatrical movies and 2 OAVs.
The Hokuto no Ken: Raoh Gaiden Junai-hen (Raoh Side Story Junai arc) motion picture will be released in spring 2006.
The Hokuto no Ken: Raoh Gaiden Gekitô-hen (Raoh Side Story Gekitou arc) OAV will follow in late 2006.
The Hokuto no Ken: Urea Densetsu (Urea Legend) motion picture will be released in spring 2007.
The Hokuto no Ken: Toki Densetsu (Toki Legend) OAV will follow in late 2007.
The Hokuto no Ken: Kenshiro Densetsu (Kenshiro Legend) motion picture will be released in spring 2008.
City Hunter creator Hojo Tsukasa will provide character designs. |
